Mike Scarfo
Hey, thanks for being here! My name is Mike Scarfo, and I am a photographer and videographer based just outside of Boston, MA. Formerly a high school English Teacher and basketball coach for nearly 10 years, I have always been an avid lover of all things media, especially when it comes to photography and videography. In January 2023 I became one of the co-founders and co-owners of AOA Studios in Beverly, MA, and finally began pursuing my passion for all things media professionally. In June 2024, I officially left my teaching job to provide photo & video services full-time, and I couldn’t be happier to be on this journey.
The best part of my time as a teacher and coach is the exact same reason why I love being a professional photographer & videographer: making connections and collaborating with people. Except in this setting, I get to use my creativity to bring people’s visions to life. Whether its a music video, family portrait, engagement photoshoot, concert or event, to anything in between, I pride myself on being a versatile creative who can take any project in stride and with a smile.
